FINE TUNED KIDS
“Fine Tuned Kids” is an occupational therapy group designed for pre-K students to develop the fine motor skills necessary for everyday tasks. These skills involve the small muscles in the hands and fingers and are crucial for activities like writing and self-help skills.
The primary goal is to enhance children’s fine motor skills through engaging and age-appropriate activities. This includes improving hand strength, dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and bilateral coordination.
Activities will include play-based activities, arts and crafts projects, hand-eye coordination tasks, strength and dexterity exercises, and pre-writing activities. The group will be led by two occupational therapists.

Who: Pre-K students
When: Mondays at 2:45 pm

Summer 2025 Session: 6 weeks on Mondays from June 16th through July 21st
Total Cost: $552

Fall 2025 Session: 8 weeks on Mondays from September 8th through November 3rd (no group on October 13th due to Indigenous Peoples Day)

WRITING WARRIORS
“Writing Warriors” is an occupational therapy group designed for first and second grade students to develop the fine and visual motor skills necessary for written work. This includes improving hand strength, dexterity, hand-eye coordination, bilateral coordination and handwriting.
​
The primary goal is to enhance children’s handwriting through engaging and age-appropriate activities. The activities involve using correct letter formation, aligning letters with respect to the baseline, spacing between words and improving motor control. The group will be led by two occupational therapists.

Who: First and Second graders
When: Mondays at 4:45 pm
